Matt and Alex met in the 5th grade at the event of the year, the DARE dance! There they had their first dance together and Matt asked Alex to be his girlfriend. Shortly thereafter, Alex's family moved to Hilliard, changed schools, and the long-distance relationship between the 11 year olds faded. Fast forward some-15 years later and fortunately, Alex's sister Haley ran into Matt at the gym where he asked how Alex was doing. From there, they began talking on Facebook, started hanging out, then dating, and the rest is history!
