One of the first questions people always ask us is how we met. We met on a the dating app Hinge. You know, that thing everyone says isn't possible? Well we proved them wrong. I, Lindsay, sent Jake the first message, reacting to his unpopular opinion about how flat pop is better than fizzy pop (still a constant debate), Jake responded to me by responding to my unpopular opinion that Archie is the worst character on Riverdale and it took off from there. Our first date was at the Birch Run Starbucks where we sat for five and half hours talking about everything from how the end of Game of Thrones was the worst, how gigantic his family is compared to mine, what theater shows we were in in high school until finally we were both too hungry to stay. Looking back, neither of us know why we didn't just go to dinner together, but nerves get the best of you sometimes don't they? When we did our engagment photos our photographer asked both of us if there is one thing you could go back and change from that day, what would it be? Without hesiation I said that I should have said I was starving, let's go eat!
