MOST things are done!  

We finalized our wedding invitations, and we both LOVE THEM!  Thank you to Chris Hale for drawing our moose for us! And thanks to Ephemera for interpreting our very different likes and creating something we both adored!  

My veil thingy is done, and I do alterations on my dress next Friday.

Rob's mom and sister volunteered (well, we asked them) to make the cake in Banff. 

So... what else?!  A honeymoon?  

Less than five months!!! Crazy!  We have started designing our invites, and I just completed our registration papers. It's getting so close! Trish and Suz got their dresses, which is great, because we had a few snaffus (sp?) trying to sort out which dress to get.  (They live in Oregon and Ohio, so logistically difficult!)  

For Canada, we are thinking of having a board game theme.  Everyone should bring their favorite board game (they will be returned that same day) for the reception.  

For Des Moines, we have been warming up Bistro Montage by eating there a whole bunch lately.  I think we have become regulars!  The good news is, we have had the chance to sample most of the menu, which will help us select our reception yummies! 

Can't wait! 

We have so much decided already!  I have my dress from Perry's in Valley Junction. We have our venues for the wedding and reception.  We just signed our contract with 5th Photography.  Our colors will be teal and coral (aka Pool and Coralreef in David's Bridal-speak). And we pretty much have our guest lists set up.  Now, it's time to chill for a bit. :)
